[ltp] continuing problems with CF cards in a PCMCIA adapter

I bought a pcmcia reader for SD cards for a few pennies in Japan. W*nd*ws
refused to acknowledge its existence, but I've had no trouble at all with my
T42 running Debian Etch or an old A21m running Ubuntu Gutsy. CF cards in a
Tevion USB multi-card reader work fine, too.
