Some routers will allow you to assign different priorities to different
services/ports, on different physical interfaces, to adjust quality of
service. It sounds to me like you may have some ports set for a lower
QoS on wlan, but not ethernet. Try checking QoS settings in your AP/router.

I should add, I'm not a networking expert, but this just happens to be a
problem I've encountered and fixed in the past. Your problem may have a
different cause from mine.
