Hello,

I've got a T400s (2808-D5G) running smoothly under Debian Wheezy/ testing.=
=20
My only issue is the WWAN module, which I'm unable to get working, neither =
at=20
the commandline with wvdial nor gui with vodafone-mobile-connect.
Maybe someone here can give me a hint how to get things working?
Sorry for posting that much information.

uname -r: 3.2.0-2-amd64

lsusb:
(=E2=80=A6)
Bus 002 Device 003: ID 0bdb:1900 Ericsson Business Mobile Networks BV F3507=
g=20
Mobile Broadband Module
(=E2=80=A6)

The necessary kernel modules are loaded:
lsmod|grep cdc
cdc_acm                17900  0=20
cdc_phonet             12868  0=20
phonet                 23883  1 cdc_phonet
cdc_ether              12598  0=20
usbnet                 18027  1 cdc_ether
cdc_wdm                17189  0=20
usbcore               128498  11=20
ehci_hcd,uhci_hcd,uas,usb_storage,cdc_acm,cdc_phonet,cdc_wdm,usbnet,cdc_eth=
er,btusb

dmesg tells me, the modem is known to the system:
dmesg|grep tty
[473231.125739] cdc_acm 2-4:1.1: ttyACM0: USB ACM device
[473231.126806] cdc_acm 2-4:1.3: ttyACM1: USB ACM device
[473231.127770] cdc_acm 2-4:1.9: ttyACM2: USB ACM device

I tried several sim-cards (o2, e-plus, vodafone) and adjusted the=20
/etc/wvdial.conf.
But whether I inserted a sim-card or not, the modem answers each and every=
=20
time, and I want to emphasize: even without any sim-card inserted, e.g.;
wvdial o2

After that wvdial tries on and on to get a connection.
Does anybody have a hint for me, how to get this modem working?

greetings
manes
