[ltp] wheezy on T42 thinkpad buttons stopped working

Following up.. I've noticed that tpb is working in some regard.  Fn+F3 
causes the screensaver to kick in.  Fn+F5 toggles the wifi.  These are 
working as expected, but I'm still mystified as to why suspend and 
hibernate aren't working.  I can click the logout button and select 
suspend and hibernate there -- that works.

I'm using XFCE if that helps.
