[ltp] T61p, NVidia proprietary drivers and hibernation.

Hi everyone,

I know, no one likes nvidia proprietary drivers, but...
I'm a happy user of a T61p (recently converted from an X60) under CentOS
6.3 x86_64 (a RedHat Enterprise Linux free clone).
Kernel is 2.6.32-279.11.1.el6.x86_64

The problem:
When I installed nvidia proprietary video driver ver. 304.60 (as a
download from NVidia.com and as a 3rd party RPM), the resume from
hibernation takes some THREE minutes, way too long. No disc activity
most of the time. During resume I hear three beeps.

Under nouveau resume takes under 40 seconds total.

Nouveau in RHEL/CentOS gives no 3D acceleration at all so I moved to
nvidia proprietary. If there's an option to get 3D from nouveau I'd like
to hear it.

Best regards,
