Just for info, it's possible to get IDE SSDs. I've tried one, and it 
works quite well, though they are slightly more costly than their SATA 
counterparts.

I'm talking here about genuine PATA drives, not a CF-card in an IDE/CD 
adapter. (the latter are great for silent media centers, but the 
random-write speed is terrible).
