[ltp] PCMCIA Ethernet

OK, this throws twist into it. I need to use DHCP. I enabled DHCP and had to choose a network device. I chose eth0. It got a valid IP address according to ifconfig, but it seems to be hanging up the system. Netscape, pings etc. don't work. It did get a set of DNS server addresses from the DHCP server. I think I'm close, but it still doesn't work. I noticed in the ifconfig that it is using IRQ 3 for the device. Isn't this a conflict with the internal DSP/Modem (which I know won't work but is still enabled)? My Xserver doesn't start unless I remove the card.

Any other help?

Thanks,

Dan

you dont need a kernel driver because this is a
pcmcia card. the device name is eth0

you just need to configure networking
(gateway, DNS, IP address etc.)
