I've just installed 2.4.3 (from Mandrake 8) on my A20p
and the built-in kernel driver works perfectly. You don't
need ALSA to use the sound features with 2.4.3.

It looks to me from your log that the sound driver is
already compiled in to the kernel and is not provided
as a module. All you need to do is delete the last two
lines from your modules.conf and the error messages
will go away!
