[ltp] TP560X questions

Hello,

Had a few queries regarding linux on my thinkpad 560X. I'd be gald for
any help/pointers..

(1) The machine hangs everytime it resumes from a suspend-to-disk or
hibernation. How do I avoid this ? I read somewhere that I need to
downgrade my BIOS. Can this be avoided ?
I run RedHat 7.1 kernel 2.4.2-2

(2) I have a hibernation file created on the FAT partition. Is it
possible to get rid of the FAT partition completely and have the
hibernation file on an ext2 partition ?
