[ltp] Restarting ( was TP600 video)

The thinkpad I refer to is a 600 (51U),
I tried a generic TFT @1024x768 and it seems to be working fine, except it
will not restart. There is a windows 98 partition and when I try to restart,
it hangs at the "restarting" message.
I am using Grub.
