I can second what Tom Grydeland says, my experiences have been
identical: it was very easy to use a 2nd hard disc in the ultrabay
of a 600E and also a plain 600.  In the UK, IBM sells the ultrabay
hard drive carrier for =A318 (around $25), and that's all I needed.
