[ltp] 2nd HDD in Multibay (600x)

Strange, after long... discussions with the ibm technical support for
Germany it turns out that the ONLY hard disk that fits the 600x ultraslim
bay is 18Gb part 37L2993, which 'is old and they do not have'. It is hard
to believe, though after what I read in the mailing list. They have the
hdd adapter 05K5336 but, they say, the new hard disks (30Gb) for the T
series won't fit for my tp model.

Should I ignore these 'recommendations' and order it regardless and can
someone tell me the part number of his hard disk (20 or more GBs)  that
fits and is recognized by the 600x model?
