Looks more like it has to be a primary partition (not neccessarily the
first primary tho').

So, what exactly does "BIOS reachable" mean? I had a setup similar to
yours (the FAT16 was the last one and it wasn't a primary partition)
on my T21 but it didn't work. Now, the T21 has a 30GB drive, so it
might well be the case that the BIOS couldn't "see" the last
partition.
Are we talking about the same 1024 cylinder limitation that affected
older versions of lilo?
