Hi,
at least foe me it still doesn't work. The driver loads just fine and
after an "ifconfig ath0 up" the modules are uses and ath0 shows up in
/proc/interrupts as the device using irq 5. And when I switch the
debunging on, I can see the driver scanning for an access point. But the
led stays dark and no packets are transmited.
My hardware:
IBM Thinkpad R40
-----------------------
Ethernet controller: PCI device 168c:0012 (rev 1).
IRQ 5.
Master Capable. Latency=168. Min Gnt=10.Max Lat=28.
Non-prefetchable 32 bit memory at 0xc0200000 [0xc020ffff].
-----------------------
ath_hal: 0.9.4.0 BETA (Sam Leffler <sam@errno.com>)
wlan: 0.7.0.0 BETA (Sam Leffler <sam@errno.com>)
ath_pci: 0.8.2.1 BETA (Sam Leffler <sam@errno.com>)
PCI: Found IRQ 5 for device 02:02.0
PCI: Sharing IRQ 5 with 00:1d.2
PCI: Sharing IRQ 5 with 00:1f.1
ath0: 11a rates: 6Mbps 9Mbps 12Mbps 18Mbps 24Mbps 36Mbps 48Mbps 54Mbps
ath0: 802.11 address: 00:05:4e:40:5b:96
ath0: Atheros 5211: mem=0xc0200000, irq=5
I can provide more Details if you need, I just don't know what might be
intersting.
