[ltp] Enabling Serial Port?

Hello,

I have a ThinkPad 600x and i had the same problem, the serial port was
disabled by default to save energy and any linux didn't enable it at boot
time.

If i were you i would use directly the setpnp and lspnp utilities to
enable the serial port.
