[ltp] hooking up an ipod

I can access the ipod in HFS+ format without problems. My only problem 
is that after unmounting the ipod, I need to remove the usb module in 
order the ipod to stop warning of not disconnecting it from the 
computer. Any idea how to solve that? BTW, the stock kernel of debian 
has all the required options on, so no recompile is necessary.
