Hi Eben,

I have never seen this problem on a thinkpad (tested on T40/T41/T50).
And Fn-F4 is suspend to ram which has nothing to do with the swap space.
Maybe you compiled something funny in the kernel.
Since kernel 2.6.8rc1 with latest acpica patch, I can suspend to ram
reliably without any problem.
