No you are absolutely right! But when I remove these modules, my
wireless light goes off and I (maybe wrongly) assume, that the
shutdown-code of the driver takes care of switching the power to the
hardware off. At least I have recognized a considerable difference in
battery life between having the modules loaded and having them stopped.
