I have an R40 2722-CDG and use 2.6.1-mm4 with APM quite happily. Suspend
and Power-off-after-shutdown work well, even Hibernation works. Cpufreq
also works of course.
I haven't yet managed to compile the thinkpad-modules for this kernel
though (I only tried once, because I don't really need them ATM).
