[ltp] Framebuffer Console with a X31 !

What frame buffer are you trying to use?

Is it compiled in, or a module?  If its a module, is it loaded?  What
does your kernel line look like in lilo or grub?  Are you attempting to
use bootsplash?

If you press ctrl+alt+f2 when X is running, can you see a console?
