[ltp] At a Standstill with 770z

After several weeks of trying, I still have no sound or wireless with my
770z. I have even tried some commercial apps like linuxant without
success.

It appears that W98 will be the way to go for wireless and sound.

I am trying Mandrake 10 at the moment. The pcmcia cards don't even beep
on bootup. The D-Link card does get recognized as an RTL8180, not that
it does me any good.

It would certainly appear that Linux is not ready for prime time on this
Thinkpad laptop at the moment. It should not be this hard.
