PC Doctor is available in the HPA partition. Since this
partition is not present on your Thinkpad, you can download
the official ISO image for your ThinkPad model from IBM
(http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?sitestyle=lenovo&lndocid=MIGR-56222)

It allows to run all kinds of tests.  Just burn a CD-RW and
boot from it.
