If you short-circuited the battery circuit, most of the parts can be fried.
If not, maybe only the systemboard/cpu (I don't know if its soldered
in your model) needs to be replaced. Maybe nothing at all - my friend spilled
a glass of coke over his laptop and all that needed to be replaced was
the keyboard.

Anyway, before giving up, you could put the system board into distilled
water (as pure as you can get) for a night or so. You need to wash off the
salts that aggregated on the board and can possibly short-circuit paths, 
and eventually corrode them even if unpowered.
Altough this sounds odd, yes, rinsing with REALLY pure water can help.
