What driver are you using for the IRDA-Device? The SIR (sir_dev/tty_sir)
or the FIR (nsc_ircc)?

I was using the SIR driver first, because Fedora Core 2 configured this
driver for the IRDA device of my T20. But after APM Suspend or
Hibernation the device stopped working, making it impossible for me to
sync my palm. After switching to the FIR driver the IRDA suspends and
resumes fine without any problems. Additionally the FIR is faster
(4Mbps) than the SIR (115.2kbps), but the other device has to support
this.
