Thanks. the script works but it only allows me to read the terminal screen
while the system locks up :-(. I guess the answer is back to ACPI and try to
resolve the VMWare problem. This install has been very problematic, wireless
is a little flakey (I have to configure it each time I start up), I get
frequent system hangs when using Yast CC, requiring power downs to recover. I
suppose this would be a good ad for MS and Windows. Other than a few minor
glitches, the Dell Workstation with SUSE on it has been rock solid. I am a
little frustrated with the T'pad, if I hadn't sprung bucks for the spare hdd,
I would be tempted to give up. Hey, never say that Lou ..
