[ltp] Middle mouse button missing after suspend

Hi folks,

I switched from kernel 2.6.16.11 with suspend2 2.2.5 to 2.6.17.5 with
suspend2 2.2.7.3. Now the middle mouse button does not produce any
events anymore after resume from suspend to disk. I tested this with
xev. I don't know how to get them back without a reboot. Restarting X
and all mouse related services doesn't help. I can not see anything
related in the log files.

This is a T23 without any external mice attached. Any hints how to
solve this?
