mg@pitonas:~ $ xrandr
SZ: Pixels Physical Refresh
*0 2304 x 1024 ( 585mm x 260mm ) *-21130
1 2048 x 768 ( 585mm x 260mm ) 18969
2 1280 x 1024 ( 585mm x 260mm ) 20398
3 1024 x 768 ( 585mm x 260mm ) -25873
4 800 x 600 ( 585mm x 260mm ) -25882
5 640 x 480 ( 585mm x 260mm ) -25880
The first two are dual-headed modes, all the rest are clone modes.
I use xrandr -s 0 to switch to the largest dual-head mode, and xrandr -s
1024x768 to switch to clone mode.

I haven't tried it for a looong time. I have noticed in freedesktop's
bugzilla (I think) that Radeon Xinerama (not MergedFB) seems to be
broken in X.org 7.0.

To err is human, but to really foul things up requires a computer.
