As of today I'm only on XOrg 6.8.2, so if I understand right, I don't
have MergedNonRectangular, which is essentially what I want. It's
unfortunate that it seems like the workaround is not working, but if
the solution is to wait for the next version of the distro and then
use the MergedNonRectangular flag, at least I know what I'm waiting
for. :)
On the other hand, if this is a reliable problem then perhaps we
should report a bug again the radeon driver that you can't get output
to both laptop and VGA displays using the dual head screen 0/screen 1
configuration. Does anybody know where that should be done?
Thanks,
Aaron
