[ltp] Radeon 7500, xorg 6.9.0 and lockups on console ?

Hello,

i have recently switched to xorg 6.9.0 (dfsg from debian testing) and to a  
dual head layout.

Now my system (R51) frezes if i use the VT1-6 consoles for a longer time.  
The more data i pass through (cating a 2KB textfile is a sure hit) the  
faster it locks up. No network, no reaction to any keyboard-combo. Simply  
put: dead.

I didn't change the kernel or any modules and dyn-clock is off.

What is the likelier cause: the dual head layout or the switch from 6.8.2  
to 6.9.0 ?
