Yes, I got the dinosaur out again. 33MHz 486, 36MB RAM and 5GB hard disk.
I'm trying to install Xubuntu using the BootFromFloppies and network
install method, but when using the Debian floppies (as suggested), it
never recognizes the root floppy.
It's as if the "floppy=thinkpad" parameter that I type (which has worked
in the past) is no longer being recognized.
Should I use older boot floppies? Maybe try Slackware images?
I'd like to stick with boot floppies over moving the drive.
