Afraid I can only offer an anecdote: My T60 (ATI X1400) plays HD for hours
just fine using a(n) Hauppauge WinTV HVR-950 USB tuner and their included
WinTV 2000 software under Vista (haven't yet got it to work in Fedora 9
and the boss HAD to watch the olympic games).
