I've run a few distros on my 600X, but I'm a fan of Fedora, so I always
switch back. With F9, things seem to work only pretty well.

- There's a bug in the video driver so sometimes the right-most column of
the gets corrupted.
- Audio still doesn't work after suspend and resume. It's been that way
for years.

XFCE works great, and even Gnome isn't too bad if you have enough RAM. The
600X can take 576MB total.
