basically it's adding two wires -- the dmarq and dmack lines --
between the CF connector and the IDE connector. these lines used
to be defined with another, apparently unused, purpose on CF, and
aren't on all pinouts. on my board(s)
(i had two of them) on the CF end (i think) one of the connector
pins needed to be lifted before connecting it to the other side,
because it was an input, tied high. other boards may need to do
that as well, and, indeed, might need to have other pins lifted.

the CF pins are 43 and 44. 44 is the one i needed to lift.

(read the text belowe the table for those pin definitions.)

the IDE pins are 21 and 29.

connect CF43  --> IDE21 (DMARQ)
connect CF44 <--  IDE29 (DMACK)
