[ltp] Set-up for an x301?

Hi,

I have a Lenovo x301 on which I have installed Debian Lenny (currently
Testing).

I have fetched the latest stable kernel 2.6.28, primarily to avoid the
e1000 issue apparently present at earlier kernels
(http://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=11382) and am running with
that set-up now.

I have a lot of questions regarding a suitable set-up for my machine,
but let me begin with a few:

My x301 is configured with a 120GB SSD and 4GB RAM.

*) Should I use Swap-partition or not? Will no-swap affect
suspend/resume actions?

*) Which file-system should I use for the SSD drive (or which
file-system should I avoid)?
