[ltp] Switching video output on a T23 (again)

Hi!

I recently got a Thinkpad T23 with SXGA display and the integrated S3 Inc.
SuperSavage IX/C SDR (rev 05).  So far it works very well, but it seems I'm
suffering the very same problems already discussed here in the past (see
e.g. [1]):  Switching between external CRT and internal LCD works, enabling
both does not :(

I tried it via 'echo "..." > /proc/acpi/...' as well as via s3switch
(patched for t23 as described in [2]).

But from what I read, the situation is still, that this hardware
constellation is not supported?  Is there anything I can do to help?  I
would really like to see the stuff I'm talking about during a presentation ;)
