Here are my 2 cents:

I can report that the

Cisco Systems Cisco Aironet 340 series 11Mbps Wireless LAN PCMCIA adapter card,
Model AIR-PCM340/AIR-PCM342US, 2.4 GHz DS 11 Mbps, P/N 421-004740-002
128 b encryption, FCC LDK102038

works fine under Linux* and Windows 95.
It is rcognized as an Aironet PC4800B card by the "airo" module.
