[ltp] Slackware 7.1 and 770Z

All,
	I have been unable to get the stock 
pcmcia 3.1.16 working with the kernel 2.2.16.
Both come with slackware 7.1  I am re-installing
the system on a new drive.  I had slackware 4.0 
working with everything except sound.  Now I cannot
get my ethernet card to work properly.  It is 
recognized correctly and "sort of" works.  I 
have eaten the PCMICIA-HOWTO document trying all
that is suggested there.  Anyone actually have 
2.2.16 kernel and pcmcia 3.1.16 working on a Thinkpad
770/770z??
