Yes Tom. I noticed that in your notes.
I tried upgrading to 1.1 (I believe - maybe even 1.0) and since
it would not build on Mandrake 6.5 (2.2.13 kernel)
I decided not to bother since I'm not expierencing
any problems I can't live with...

EXCEPT the IBM 10/100 EtherJet network card.
Even after upgrading the PCMICA drivers I still
cannot get the card to send. It seems to recieve OK.
I've asked this this a few times but did not get a difinitive
"Yes this works... here are the config settings, etc."
from anyone.

I just wanted all to note that I still use, and am
very happy with Linux on the IBM ThinkPad 600.
