Oy, did I screw up that paragraph!  I meant to just say this:

In the appropriate InputDevice section, set the Protocol option to
"IMPS/2". Set the ZAxisMapping option to "4 5".

(You can leave the Emulate3Buttons option set if you want, but it's not
necessary unless you only have 2 buttons on the Trackpoint.)
