On my 1400x1050 t21, I changed the Screen/Display Modes line in
/etc/X11/XF86Config-4 to read:

                Modes "1400x1050" "1024x768" "800x600" "640x480"

Then I can use "xvidtune -next" to cycle through theses
resolutions. It's invaluable when I have to use a projector. I
have "xvidtune -next" on a function key in my window manager so I
just hit the key and the resolution changes. I don't know how to
set CRT and LCD to have different resolutions; last time I looked
in the driver source there was no support for it at all, afaik.

Oh, and I'm running XFree4.2.0, not XFree4.10.

Michael.
