My 600e does not need a CMOS battery, but I took a look at the manual ( 
http://www-3.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/LWIK-3SYPX2.html ) just to verify 
the difficulty in replacement. I do not see a CMOS battery listed.

Can someone who has actually replaced the CMOS battery on a 600e please 
describe the process? Is is actually in the hardware manual and I have just 
missed it?
