is a bummer since the quality of the external LCD via VGA is really bad=20
compared to the DVI (Dell FP1901 in case it matters).=20
What's interesting is that if I restart the machine with the monitor attach=
ed=20
via DVI, the text console is displayed on the laptop screen, but the X=20
primary display appears on the external screen no matter whether I start th=
e=20
Dual or Single layout. The console screen blanks out while X is running.

Is it possible to control this behaviour? Is it something in the BIOS=20
settings? Parameters of the 'radeon' driver? X settings?
