[ltp] SXGA+ versus XGA resolution, any suggestions?

I remembered something.  This bit in my xorg.conf file:

        Identifier   "Thinkpad LCD"
        VendorName   "IBM"
        ModelName    "LCD"
        DisplaySize  287 215

Tells it I have a 14.1" display (the numbers are millimeters), and it uses=
=20
that to scale everything appropriately.  No fuss, no muss.
