Hi

My new (used) T41 won't charge it's battery. I might have messed with
something, or missed something. How do I get the battery charging?

Here's the content of /proc/acpi/battery/BAT0:

atte@ajstrup:~$ cat /proc/acpi/battery/BAT0/*
alarm: 2513 mWh
present: yes
design capacity: 47520 mWh
last full capacity: 50270 mWh
battery technology: rechargeable
design voltage: 10800 mV
design capacity warning: 2513 mWh
design capacity low: 200 mWh
capacity granularity 1: 1 mWh
capacity granularity 2: 1 mWh
model number: IBM-08K8193
serial number: 10640
battery type: LION
OEM info: SANYO
present: yes
capacity state: ok
charging state: charged
present rate: 0 mW
remaining capacity: 210 mWh
present voltage: 11233 mV

What looks funny to me is the combination of "charging state: charged",
"present rate: 0 mW", "design capacity: 47520 mWh" and "remaining
capacity: 210 mWh". So the battery is almost empty (indeed it is, I get
beeps when I disconnect the power supply) but it thinks it's charged and
therefore is not charging. Strange...

BTW: I'm running xubuntu.
