Sorry for the Off Topic thread but I'm at a loss.
I've a trouble with my C200 audio controller (00:1b.0 Audio device:
Intel Corporation 82801G (ICH7 Family) High Definition Audio
Controller (rev 02)):

when I boot my system (CentOS 5.1, kernel 2.6.18-53.1.13.el5), there's
no sound throught speakers on my laptop; if I plug an headphone jack
then un-plug it, so laptop speakers works perfectly!

How can I set up speakers to work correctly without plug-in headphone
jack workaround?

PS: alsa drivers, libs e utils ver 1.0.16, and my modprobe.conf:

# cat /etc/modprobe.conf
...
options snd-card-0 index=0
options snd-hda-intel index=0
remove snd-hda-intel { /usr/sbin/alsactl store 0 >/dev/null 2>&1 || :
; }; /sbin/modprobe -r --ignore-remove snd-hda-intel
