In Brazil you'll just get lower-price models.  My 1400x1050 T43 had to come
from the USA via Finland (don't ask, and yes, all due taxes were paid
otherwise I'd not have been able to get warranty in Brazil).  Try USA,
Germany, UK, Japan, Australia, China.

And definately phone Lenovo and give them crap over it.  If enough people
complain, they will make a 1680x1050 local model available (I don't know if
1920x1200 is possible with the Intel GPU in the first place).

All models support 4GB.  Support != comes with.  And if you need more than
4GB, I don't think any current "normal" laptop can help you there.  Unless
swap would help, in which case a SSD can give you a LOT of extra space that
is quite fast.
