I haven't done this in a while - so this might be a bit inaccurate. in
win98, you could try something like prgrams -> accessories -> system
tools -> system info
One of the menu option is 'create report' or something like that. This
takes a few seconds - and eventually lists the cpu freq as one of the
items.
