1. Update to latest BIOS and EC, and re-test.
2. Check which cpufreq driver you are using. Try -centrino and the ACPI one,
maybe one of the two works right and the other doesn't.
3. Check if it works on kernel 2.6.20.1
4. File bug on bugzilla.kernel.org if all of the above failed.
